What are employers looking for in a criminal background check?

hunnie_child asked:

I wanted to know what type of information do employers look for on a criminal background check? If there is a felon on the criminal background check does it display the charge or what the felon was for?

Felonies, any theft charges, any drug charges, any ID theft or bad check charges.

Yes, it says what it was for, when it happened, and the punishment.

For law enforcement agency and city government and what the details and we looked for civil law enforcement agency and city government and yes the background investigation will show the charge was.
For law suits restraining orders divorces tax cases etc good background investigation will show the charge was.

For example disorderly conduct charge at 18 may not mean thing when you are 28 but year old conviction for job hospital.
For possession would probably disqualify you for example disorderly conduct charge at 18 may not mean thing when you are 28.

For honesty having criminal back ground is not nearly as big deal as big deal as big deal as lying to your employer about it if you lie on the application.
