What all do they check in military background checks for enlisting?

Is it just a credit and criminal background check? What if you don’t have any credit, will that screw you over?
I’m not just worried ’bout the credit reports and all, but just all what they go through…I hate having my privacy invaded, though I guess in the military there IS no privacy.
